Devilous/ Slanggmedia "get It Now Or Lose It Later" Release Party

SlanggMedia presented the “Devilous” CD release party at Club Element on Elgin Street, right in Ottawa’s downtown club district.  The night was hosted by Dynamic, one of the emerging Hip Hop artists straight from Chicago. The Club was packed and amazing tracks were playing all night long from some the newest stars from Canada’s quickly emerging Hip Hop scene.  Ottawa’s own Roc Steady kept the show alive and the crowd went crazy for the local talent.  The other Canadian artists included DJ Alive and SoundGully, and NyC's from south of the border.  Together, these artists are out to set a new standard of excellence in the underground Hip Hop scene and the size of the crowd they were able to get out on a Thursday night is a testament to their rising popularity.
  The crowd was packed both with hardcore fans of the artists as well as the regular crowd always found at Element.  Even those who had never heard of any of the DJs seemed to have a wild night.  SlanggMedia’s models kept the guys in the club occupied with their prizes and giveaways.  This kind of success is what happens when a company like SlanggMedia is smart with their event planning.  Between the music, models, and giveaways there really was something for everyone.
Two weeks later on December 27th, SlanggMedia will be presenting another great party at Club Element showcasing DJ Mendez, Tru SoundCrew, Roc Steady, Titus, and DJ alive spinning today’s hottest tracks with the chance to Party with Canada’s own Alpha Omega and the North American Bikini 2007 Cover girl Nominees.  And in less than a month SlanggMedia will be presenting an even bigger event!  On January 18th, Slanggmedia will be shooting the music video for their latest hit Mad at Cha “Jinx” and celebrating Tre Downey’s birthday at Brickstone on 320 Rideau.  This promises to be an amazing show and will be a night you definitely won’t want to miss!
