PR Log (Press Release) – Dec 14, 2007 – Today we pay our attentions to the newly opened hosting branch in the Prague. Maksym Nesen is the executive director of the new hosting department at the Oksima Plus s.r.o.  

The new web hosting service offers six hosting plans to the web community. There is the free hosting plan for those who want to test reliability, connection speed, support, and other features declared at the representative site. The free plan has several limitations. like no domain can be hosted there, only a sub-domain of such domains as ksmhost.com, ksmhost.net, 4jhost.com, 4jhost.net.

All prepaid plans differs in disk quota, monthly bandwidth, quantity of allowed domains to be hosted, quantity of email/FTP accounts. All other features (like Python, Ruby on the Rails, data bases, SSL certificate support and many others) are common for all prepaid plans. Maksym Nesen says: 'Customers can choose a plan according to their needs. We offer enough diversity to satisfy any taste. For sure any custom configuration is possible if client desires some specialties.'

On the other hand Maksym Nesen adds: 'We are planning to extend the diversity of our hosting services very soon. We are starting to provide JSP/Tomcat powered hosting for web developers and companies which require more reliable and powerful software support for projects'. The plans with Tomcat are not widely advertised yet, but they are ready to be released just before Christmas holidays.  The SVN, Bugzilla and many more developer features will be available along with Tomcat, JSP, Struts and other Java related technologies.

Our representative asked Mr. Nesen why the Prague was chosen to open new hosting department,  wasn't it more attractive to locate servers somewhere in USA or Canada. The answer was: 'We thought about that and Prague was chosen for several reasons. As we know, there are many hosting companies in  the USA and Canada. We can state that rise of another hosting company in USA or Canada is just a drop in the sea. On the other hand we noticed the Czech Republic, the number of hosting companies there isn't so high, and to tell truth, this country is not only attractive by low quantity of competitors, it is very historical and we are glad to have our department located here'.
