San Rafael, CA - - 12/12/07 - - The Marin Association of Female Executives (MAFE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to Networking, Mentoring and Education. This holiday season MAFE wanted to make sure to support other local community business women and is excited to be hosting a networking mixer and holiday boutique that will benefit lower-income women in making their business dreams come true.
At their December 17th, 2007 annual fundraiser, MAFE will be supporting low-income women who are working their dream. A generous donation be made by MAFE to Women’s Initiative. Women's Initiative for Self Employment provides a one-stop shop where high-potential, lower-income women receive training to start and grow their business. The business management training, technical assistance, and financing services we provide — in English and Spanish — improve the quality of life for the women we serve, their families and our communities.
MAFE President, Jessa Rank says “It’s exciting to be able to mentor and give back to other women in the business community who lack the resources to make their business dreams come true.” The event will feature live music, food buffet and over twenty local vendors who will be offering their services and products for sale for the holiday gift buying session. A true evening of networking and giving back.
