A 73-room Microtel Inn & Suites hotel has broken ground at 136 Comrie Avenue in Johnstown, New York at the foot of the Adirondack Mountains. The new hotel – scheduled to open next June – is off Route 30A and the New York State Thruway at exit 28, and close to area business centers and restaurants, in addition to numerous walking trails, golf courses, lakes, canoe routes, skiing and snowmobiling. The hotel is owned by DHC of Johnstown, LLC of Saratoga Springs, NY. Microtel Inns & Suites is the award-winning chain of all new-construction economy/limited service hotels.

The three-story Microtel Inn & Suites in Johnstown will offer single, double and suite accommodations.
