In July 2007, Atlanta area attorney Kimberly N. Martin left a large international law firm to open Martin & Martin, LLP with her attorney father, Thomas F. Martin.  Kimberly represented national employers in all areas of employment law from handbook policies to determining the proper overtime classification for employees.  Attorney Kimberly Martin litigated numerous cases on behalf of employers including discrimination and harassment cases to representing companies in class and collective actions involving wage & hour and overtime claims.  

Attorney Kimberly Martin formed Martin & Martin, LLP so that she could also represent employees in select discrimination, harassment and overtime claims.

Attorney Thomas F. Martin brings extensive experience with the health care industry, where he worked for several decades as a senior executive with both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.  Attorney Tom Martin specialized knowledge of the health care industry to his practice at Martin & Martin, LLP advising clients in areas of health care law, employment law, and criminal law.

On November 19, 2007, attorneys Kimberly Martin and Tom Martin filed a federal lawsuit for overtime pay in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia to recover unpaid overtime for employees of Ethan Allen throughout the county.  For more information see martinandmartinlaw.com.
