GREENSBORO, N.C. – Market America, Inc. and Vogue Magazine hosted Hollywood’s hottest stars on Saturday December 8 at Miami Art Basel’s most exclusive party featuring a fashion show by designer Alberta Ferretti showcasing her spring/summer 2008 Collection at the Miami Beach mansion of Market America’s CEO and Senior Vice President J.R. and Loren Ridinger.
In addition to Ferretti, among the Hollywood celebrities, athletes and art VIPs in attendance were actress Lucy Lui, Grammy nominated singer and actress Paulina Rubio with husband Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera, business mogul Damon Dash, designer Tommy Hilfiger and girlfriend Dee Ocleppo, supermodel Veronica Webb, one of the NBA’s 50 greatest players Scottie Pippen, MLB slugger Mike Piazza with wife Alicia, Chicago Cubs outfielder Cliff Floyd, singer and TV star Brooke Hogan, Market America’s chief operating officer Marc Ashley, JR and Loren’s daughter Amber Ridinger, actress and model Barbara Becker, music producer Pharrell Williams, president of Victoria’s Secret Monica Mitro, president of Banana Republic Jack Calhoun, president of Bristol Cellars Juan A. Bacardi, president of Dacra Development Craig Robins, and club mogul Ingrid Casares.
The lawn of the Ridinger’s Miami Beach mansion was transformed into an alfresco lounge complete with plush couches positioned alongside the poolside runway. After the fashion show the Ridinger’s hosted an after party on board their 150 foot yacht “Utopia III” where guests watched the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Ricky Hatton championship boxing match.
