Kothari named PM Ambassador™ in Canada

Dhanu Kothari, project management author, consultant and experienced IT project manager, joins PMForum’s PM Ambassadors™ Speakers Bureau

Dec. 9, 2007 - PRLog -- Dallas, Texas  — PMForum, Inc. announced today that Dhanu Kothari, author of two project management books and past president of the PMI Southern Ontario Chapter, has joined the PM AmbassadorsTM Speakers Bureau.  Mr. Kothari is a well known project management consultant and trainer based in Ontario, Canada, and an expert in the field of information technology (IT) project management. PMForum announced the formation of the PM Ambassadors™ Speakers Bureau in June 2007.

Dhanu Kothari is an enthusiastic and passionate consultant, workshop leader and motivational speaker with 30 years of project management experience in IT and Engineering with such companies as HP, DEC, Honeywell, Nortel, Scotiabank, Univac and the Norwegian Computing Center. He is currently president of D2i Consulting, a firm specializing in project management delivery and consulting, including Methodology, Process, PMOs, Audits, coaching and training.  Dhanu holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Pune, India and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Production Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland. Dhanu is a past President of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Southern Ontario Chapter, Canada.

Dhanu has authored two books on Project Management, “Rainbows & Ratholes: Best Practices for Managing Successful Projects” and “From Ratholes to Rainbows: Managing Project Recovery”, and has published numerous articles and papers on project management, in journals and conference proceedings.  He is prepared to speak on such topics as: Failure is Not an Option: Managing Project Recovery; Getting Work Done: The Human Side of Project Management; Rainbows & Ratholes: Learning from Best Practices; Learning from the Lessons Learned: The STEALTH Technique; Managing & Motivating Successful Teams; PMBOK & BABOK: An Integrated View of Project Mgt. & Bus.
