“The SR-5124 provides new situational awareness capabilities and resolves a huge logistical problem” says Hans Vanderhoek, CEO of EONIC. “With an integrated system, intelligence organizations can easily switch between radar signals and telemetry or communications signals, without all the logistical headaches otherwise associated with it. As a matter of fact, any combination of signals can be recorded and monitored. This also provides unique situational awareness in real time.”
The SR-5124 is the world’s first SIGINT system which integrates ELINT and COMINT that captures radio, satcom, telemetry and radar signals simultaneously and synchronously. This unique combination of ELINT and COMINT provides novel approaches to situational awareness. It also simplifies lifecycle management and dramatically reduces the cost of training, spares and maintenance. Moreover, the highly integrated nature of the SR-5124 reduces the need for physical space, always a critical issue in intelligence vehicles.
Furthermore, the SR-5124 offers extraordinary dynamic range (eg better than 80 dB(c) on a 160 MHz IF channel, digitized at 12 bit resolution), simultaneous recording of multiple channels, playback while record and compatibility with MARTES, MIDAS and other signal analysis tools. It enables a combination of video baseband, radio, milcom, satcom and radar signals to be detected, monitored, recorded and analyzed simultaneously on a single system. An intuitive user interface is included, as well as anti-aliasing filters and gain control measures.
The SR-5124 targets intelligence organizations who are replacing their legacy tape recorders. One SR-5124 typically replaces 4 to 8 tape recorders plus the associated user control software and analog filters. This way, the SR-5124 saves a lot of space and reduces logistical complexities.
