New Web Site Will Provide Socially Responsible Organizations with Technology Training Free

KnowledgeHarbor is a new web site to provide organizations the opportunity to get valuable information on how to use technology to better their organization free.

Dec. 4, 2007 - PRLog -- Not all organizations can afford a full time Information Technology staff but still must understand the cadre of IT issues relevant in today's Internet-based society. That's where KnowledgeHarbor (http://www.knowledgehabor.com) comes in. Helm Technology Solutions, a Virginia-based IT Services company that works with socially responsible organizations, is building the online resource to help educate nonprofits and associations about the technology issues they face and provide resources that can make their lives easier.

KnowledgeHarbor will combine both live topic discussion events that will be held in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with a unique online learning portal which will allow interested individuals to have access to the topic discussions at any point. Topics will range from issues such as how an organization can increase awareness of their cause through social networking, to how you can better protect your organization from costly and embarrassing security breaches.

KnowledgeHarbor officially opened its site to the general public on December 4th, 2007. Helm Technology Solutions employees are currently volunteering their time to gather topic discussion ideas and find facilities interested in hosting the discussions.
