Friday Night Fireworks at Edaville USA

DATELINE: CARVER, MA… From young folks to old, everyone will certainly get “more bang” out of their visit to Edaville USA this holiday season with the added treat of a fireworks show held every Friday night.

PRLog (Press Release)Nov 29, 2007 – Having recently opened their gates for the 2007 Christmas Festival of Lights, one of Edaville’s special attractions this year, fireworks, runs from November 30th to December 28th.  

In addition to a scenic two mile train ride (the perfect distance for those with young children) through seven million twinkling holiday lights and the Friday night fireworks show, Edaville USA offers kiddie and vintage amusement rides; animated displays and Fred Heim’s Half-Scale construction equipment; an Indoor Play area; Cranberry World and a number of restaurants and snack areas.

And, of course, visitors will have an opportunity to meet Santa Claus.

The Christmas Festival of Lights runs from November 9-11, 16-18, 23-30, 2007 and December 1-31, 2007 (closed Christmas day) and January 1, 2008.  

Hours are Monday-Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the last train at 8 p.m.  The Friday night fireworks are held at approximately 8:30 (weather permitting).

Edaville USA is located just off Route 58 in South Carver, MA (less than one hour from Boston and Providence).  There is ample free parking and Edaville USA is accessible to the handicapped.  Admission is $16 and includes unlimited train rides, unlimited amusement rides, Ellis’ Playhouse and all attractions.  Free admission for children under two years old.

Edaville USA – A New England Tradition
Owned and operated by Brenda Johnson and Robert Julian since 2003, Edaville USA has undergone many exciting changes over the years, including the reconfiguration of the entire rail course and the incorporation of vintage amusement rides such as an antique carousel and an illuminated Ferris wheel.  Other attractions throughout the year include “Day Out With Thomas” a family event centered on the Thomas the Tank Engine classic storybook; daylight trips through brilliant seasonal foliage and the harvest of the cranberry crop in the Fall and late afternoon and evening rides through the Holiday Festival of Lights in the winter.
