The Teleosis Institute, an educational non-profit organization based in Berkeley, CA, announced today that registration has opened for its groundbreaking “Leadership in Green Health Care course for health care practitioners. Leadership in Green Health Caresm is designed to prepare health professionals as leaders in the newly emerging discipline of Sustainable Medicine. Sustainable Medicine is an approach to health and wellness that focuses on cost-effective health care, renewable treatment methods, and preventative self-care education.
“Because Sustainable Medicine is a new area of instruction, most healthcare practitioners did not have exposure to the topic during their medical training” said Joel R. Kreisberg, DC, MA, founder and executive director of the Teleosis Institute. “Our course introduces them to the theory, latest research, best practices and opportunities for community action.”
