Billa Audio Songs Launch: prelude to style

The first audio CD of Billa was released by Rajinikanth on November 19th in a very quiet get together. The official launch of the music was on Monday, 26th November 2007. The Billa songs were immediately available online on the #1 Indian movie portal, www.galatta.com.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this film. The six scintillating tracks are pure delight to the ears. Two songs from the original, ‘My name is Billa’ and ‘Vethalaiye Potendi’ have been remixed. Yuvan has managed to keep M.S.Viswanathan’s flavour of the songs and yet given it a modern feel. Pa.Vijay’s lyrics are fun and youthful.

The music of the film, preceded by the trailer has created a lot of anticipation, curiosity and expectation about the film.
