PRLog (Press Release) – Nov 27, 2007 – Alberta is Canada's boom province, attracting immigrants from all over the world and migrants from other Canadian provinces.  People are attracted to Alberta because of the province’s high wages and plentiful job opportunities.

Alberta has seen some of the highest wage increases in the G8, with construction and natural resource projects keeping skilled workers in high demand.  However, even with high wages and more jobs than people, Alberta is having a tough time finding workers.  The province needs more workers if it is to maintain its current level of growth.  Alberta has been negotiating with the Canadian government to increase its levels of immigration for skilled workers and temporary work permits so that more workers can come to Alberta to start a new life.
