FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
Nov 22, 2007 – ‘Billa’, starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role, is the remake of Rajini’s 1980 movie ‘Billa’. Directed by Vishnuvardhan and produced by L. Suresh, – son of Balaji who produced the yesteryear ‘Billa’ – the movie’s first-ever official trailer has been released recently on Galatta.com.
It seems that sky is the limit for Billa the don. Several years ago, ‘Billa’ fashioned a new cult of style and entertainment in the tinsel world. With Rajini as Billa, the ‘style’ factor outplayed all the other elements in the movie. Similarly, now with the new ‘Billa’, much fanfare and entertainment is expected. With release date drawing near, expectations are soaring sky-high. The recent release of the first official trailer of the movie has created much hype among fans. All credits to Ajith and his youthful, modern-day don image! The new ‘Billa’ has Ajith in the lead role supported by Nayanthara and Namitha in the female leads. Ajith appears as an irresistibly handsome gangster with high-end technology at his hands. The crew has put in their arduous effort to bring in the style and tempo of the yesteryear movie in the new one. Right from the costumes to the shooting locations – this ‘Billa’ has the best! Technicians have worked day and night to bring out the gangster-feel of the movie. For all the hard work, the movie has come up well - the trailer is a witness to this. It foretells how grand the movie would be. Here is the nutshell of the story: The extravagant hide-and-seek game between a cop and a gunman ends up revealing a look-alike of the baddie. The baddie dies and the cop puts the look-alike in the don’s place. In short, Billa is all about action, romance, hype and style. And with Ajith appearing in long black suits with handsome stubble on his face, what can stop one from enjoyment? Really eager to watch the racy trailer of ‘Billa’? Just log on to www.galatta.com , and watch the exhilarating trailer. # # # Galatta.com, our 7-year-old movie portal, has ventured into the print media with the magazine “Galatta Cinema”, a new monthly dedicated to south Indian movie news.
