A Soldier’s Christmas

   Vicksburg, Miss…Vicksburg, Miss., based songwriter Frank Worley has released a Christmas song honoring the families of military service members. “A Soldier’s Christmas” reflects on the separation that military families often endure in support of their deployed loved one.

   “Military families also serve the nation by supporting their loved ones overseas, that service is often overlooked.,” said Worley. As part of the promotional campaign for the song, a new website has been established to raise awareness about military families and the sacrifices they make for our country. The site www.asoldiersxmas.com features stories from service members, and their families as well as pictures supplied by both.

   While the site focuses on Christmas, anyone with a story to share related to military families is welcome to submit to the site. All submissions will be considered. The site also contains a music player so that visitors may listen to the song “A Soldier’s Christmas” free of charge.

   The site also contains links to charitable organizations that help service members and their families.

   “This site is non-political. It neither supports nor opposes the war, but instead tries to raise awareness about the sacrifice made by military families.”

   Worley is a 39 year old songwriter, based in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He has previously released 2 CD’s: Bits n Pieces in 2005, a loose autobiography and REVOLUTION in 2007 a collection of original political songs written over the last 20 years.
