Grand Opening and Fall Festival events marked the beginning of a season of home sales for Silver Summit Properties communities in the picturesque mountains of Dahlonega, the in-town convenience of Conyers, and the lakeside luxury of Lake Oconee, where buyers are finding homes ready to move into now and by the end of the year.
More than 150 people attended the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Preview Event at Silver Summit at Mountain Park on Friday, October 12 at the new community in Dahlonega, Georgia.
“The Grand Opening (at Mountain Park) was an unqualified success by anyone’s standards,” said Senator Chip Pearson, who has been involved with the project since its inception and was in attendance with several personally invited guests.
New and prospective buyers enjoyed Bluegrass Music, lunch catered by a local Dahlonega eatery; tractor-drawn wagon rides to preview the Walking Trails, courtesy of a local Christmas tree farmer; wine tastings at the Vista and Summit homes under construction, courtesy of Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Three Sisters Vineyards in Dahlonega; and a Ribbon-Cutting performed by the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce.
“The event exceeded the expectations of everyone there,” Senator Pearson said. “The weather was perfect. The ambience – with the music and the food – was wonderful. And the feedback from the people who attended has been overwhelmingly positive.”
Silver Summit at Flat Shoals in Conyers hosted its Fall Festival 3-day weekend event November 2 - 4 with a Wine & Cheese Reception on Friday evening, a Fall Festival Tour of Homes and Thanksgiving Luncheon on Saturday, and a Tailgate Party at the Clubhouse on Sunday. Homeowners and guests enjoyed visiting with one another and experiencing a sample of the Lifestyle of Friends that each Silver Summit community makes a reality.
