Nov 16, 2007 – Chamaiporn Paphatphong, Deputy Director of Business Development and Marketing, Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. revealed, “This year we are going to hold a workshop on ‘Safe Knowledgeable Driving’ because now as there are more cars on the roads, the number of accidents soars accordingly. This is partly due to lack of car skills and basic knowledge”.
This activity will be useful to all motorists especially female drivers. The workshop, divided into 4 stations, aims to instil good habits in driving and car maintenance.
Station 1: Assessment of driving efficiency using simulator. Checking of reaction time on braking and driving ability under different road conditions. Recommendation for improvement.
Station 2: Checking of visual efficiency.
Station 3: Giving basic knowledge of engine and tyre change. Practice session.
Station 4: Demonstrating first-aid treatment and giving useful information about an ambulance and its medical equipment.
The Workshop “Safe Knowledgeable Driving” will be held at Booths H03-04, IMPACT Challenger 2-3, Muang Thong Thani during 5-10 December, 2007. There will be 3 sessions a day the first beginning at 1300 hrs., each with 30 trainees. However, on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6, the number of sessions will be reduced to 2 only, beginning at 1300 and 1600 hrs. respectively.
