RE/MAX Around Atlanta – Duluth recently held a charity auction and raised $25,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The charity auction, “Evening of the Stars”, was held at the new Aurora Theatre in downtown Lawrenceville on Oct. 24.
The evening was filled with special guest appearances and autograph opportunities. Wes Sarginson, 11Alive News anchor was the special guest auctioneer, and Washington Redskins legend Dave Butz made a special guest appearance at the event. Atlanta Auction Company, owned by Larry and Lucy Troutman, donated their services for the event. Lucy Troutman is REALTOR® at RE/MAX Around Atlanta.
All proceeds raised from the event will go toward helping children through Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Some items that were auctioned included dinner packages, sports memorabilia, golf packages, art, antiques, tickets and jewelry, as well as many other great items.
“This event was a great success, and I want to thank everyone who volunteered or donated to the auction.
