The World's FIRST, RUBBER, FLEXIBLE, WATERPROOF, Broadcast Quality Voice Transmitter
Unveiled for Launch at NAB 2008
London, Ontario, Canada (November 15, 2007) Quantum5x Systems Inc., announced today that it has developed and successfully field-tested the QTR-1000, Mini, Rubber, Flexible, Waterproof, Voice transmitter, Presently the World's FIRST and ONLY, Professional broadcast quality wireless microphone. This is a patent-pending Wireless RF technology that enhances the quality and enjoyment of broadcast sports, entertainment events, television production and motion pictures.
Live demonstrations and testing of this new technology were televised during NBA and ALL Star Games.
The project, named "Flubber - PLAYERMIC™" enables broadcasters to attach a very small voice transmitter to athletes, which will be used by the networks to broadcast player's, athlete's, or official’s audio at any event. This system measures ONLY 0.35 inches thick, and weighing only one and a half ounces with antenna, lavaliere and battery, a very sophisticated combination of transmitter technology and case design.
Quantum5X began research and development for the project at the invitation of the National Basketball Association. in 2006, with the idea and a wish list, coming from Kurt Heitmann, Director of Broadcast Audio Sales, CP Communications. The transmitter was developed and built entirely from the ground up by the London Ontario based team, undergoing more than a year of design, development and beta testing.
