Nov 14, 2007 – Syntensia AB, the pioneer in security on-demand solutions, today announced that it has appointed Johan Hansson as its new Chief Executive Officer. As Syntensia’s network security subscriptions services continue to rapidly gain traction in the SMB market, Hansson joins forces to take the expansion plan to the next level.
Syntensia, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, focuses on providing best of the breed security technologies for SOHO and SMB markets.
“In October, Syntensia celebrated its 800th customer and we believe the time is right for us to turn over the reins to a CEO who can take the company to even greater heights over the coming years. Prior to joining Syntensia, Johan held the position of Managing Director with Gansevoort Media LLC, a media and internet product development firm. He brings with him vast experience, holding prominent positions of managing director as well as launch director for Metro Hong Kong and Metro North America, divisions of Metro International, the world’s largest global newspaper. In North America he was responsible for the launch of the company’s largest ever start-up, Metro New York, and helped develop and execute a plan that led to accelerated growth and revenue.
Prior to that he held various management positions in the UK, the Netherlands, and Poland for Metro International and STS Language Schools.
