PRLog - Nov. 13, 2007 - Aetna UK is celebrating a record 2007 with sales of pallet stretch wrappers going through the roof. By the end of December, Aetna are confident that they will have reached 350 sales of their semi automatic and robot systems which continues the impressive 10% growth year on year, they have achieved over the past 4 years. Aetna’s best selling product has been the Rotoplat 506 PFS semi auto turntable pallet stretchwrapper, which has accounted for more than 200 of these.
Aetna says there has been an encouraging mix of reasons why both new and repeat customers have chosen ROBOPAC. Some 65% chose quality and features over price, and in many instances, the initial investment has been covered by savings in material costs and labour.
There has also been a noticeable increase of orders within the Logistics market and many international organisations have chosen to standardise their installations using ROBOPAC machinery across all sites. For example, the American parent company of a recent British installation has over 90 machines already in production in all of their warehouses throughout the USA.
Aetna UK’s chairman, Barry Tucker is not surprised that once again Aetna and ROBOPAC have been chosen by so many ‘blue chip’ organisations. He said: “ROBOPAC have been market leaders for many years, and the brand is associated with quality, advanced technology, service and support but most of all experience. At Aetna UK we have a highly motivated, fully professional team who believe strongly in ‘the right machine for the job’ and top class customer service. Between them, they can offer more than 100 years of specific experience in the pallet stretch wrapping business. I firmly believe that no other company in our market segment can offer such a compelling package of values.”
When Aetna UK was founded, the directors made a conscious decision not to sell film, just machines, which means there is no bias towards a particular brand of film, only the most suitable. They are regularly contacted for advice and guidance by customers who appreciate that they will only recommend the combination of machine and film that is most suited to them.
Aetna believes the market, which is already very mature, is becoming better educated and therefore more discerning which it comes to choosing a pallet stretch wrapper, which is no longer seen as a film dispenser.
