Lincoln Crowne & Company signals United States presence
(12th November 2007) Sydney, Australia – Boutique Investment Bank Lincoln Crowne & Company today signalled its intention to expand its operations to the east coast of the United States in 2008.
Lincoln Crowne & Company’s Executive Chairman, Nicholas Assef, commented: “ The natural extension of our Firm beyond the Asian boundary is the USA. We are currently investigating the establishment of a beachhead operation in either New York of Boston, and expect to make the announcement of an appointment, and timeline for commencement of operations, towards the end of Q1 2008. We have fortunately identified a number of individuals who would make excellent leaders of the US operations.”
Assef continued: “ Our Firm has grown substantially over the past 12 months, undertaking assignments in many nations - from Australia to India. A number of our Asian clients see the US markets as being a step on their evolutionary path, and so it only makes sense for LCC to be there to drive that strategic objective with them.”
