Brookstreet Gets Tops Marks in its 360° Performance Review

Three HR-Related Awards Give Recognition for Excellent Performance from Guests, Employees and the Tourism Industry
 
Nov. 9, 2007 - PRLog -- OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada – Guests, employees and the tourism industry all have recently recognized Brookstreet for its leadership in human resource management and creating a positive work environment.

During the Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s Tourism Leadership Summit from November 4 - 6, 2007, Brookstreet received the Canadian Tourism Human Resources Council (CTHRC) Award for Excellence in Human Resource Development. This distinction is given to the business that has demonstrated a commitment to professionalism in the Canadian tourism workforce through professional recognition, training, and excellence in human resource management.

Meanwhile, Brookstreet Partners [employees] put the hotel in the Top 10 Employers of Distinction in the National Capital Region. Announced on November 2, 2007, this designation recognizes Brookstreet as an Ottawa employer who demonstrates a commitment to best practices in human resource management, by making it, according to its employees, the ideal place to work.

At the Ottawa Tourism sponsored Stars of the City Recognition Evening on October 30, 2007, Brookstreet was awarded the 2007 Star Property. Stars of the City is a customer service awards program that aims to recognize, educate and motivate front line staff and is achieved by collecting nominations year round that cite real life examples of customer service excellence.
