ABC’s famous “Extreme Home Makeover” television show has fulfilled another miracle for a family in Manchester, New Hampshire this week. On Oct. 16th, the well-deserved family was notified and treated to a week vacation courtesy of “Extreme Home Makeover,” while the shows production crew began the transformation of their home.
Among the participants to lead this house makeover was Serge Nadeau from CertaPro Painters, the largest residential painting service in the U.S. Nadeau lead a team of 50 painters (22 from CertaPro Painters) in the restoration process that lasted from Oct. 20th to Oct. 25th.
“After losing their house to a major flood, the family of 6 found themselves paying 2 mortgages, with no house to show for, in addition to paying rent in an apartment next door to the empty lot that was once their home,” explains Nadeau. “We are very excited to have had the opportunity to be able to work with the community to help a deserving family in need. I feel extremely fortunate to personally be in a position to be able to manage a project of this scope.”
