PRLog (Press Release) –
Nov 08, 2007 – The tube isn't most people’s first choice of a place to meet, but love can be found on London’s transport system.
The tube carried over a billion passengers last year. With that many people crammed onto London's notoriously crowded underground, bus and train network, the chances of finding that special someone deep underground actually aren't all that slim. In a way, it makes perfect sense. On the tube, we’re all stuck together in a confined space. We’re often well dressed for a day at work and don’t have a lot to look at other than each other. It’s the prefect opportunity to catch the eyes, and the interest, of that special someone. However, it doesn’t always work out. Too often our romantic interest hops off a few stops before we've quite worked up the nerve to say hello. 26 year old Joanne, a London resident, regularly sees people on her commute she would love to get to know better. "The tube is a great place to people watch, and check people out! But, it’s chaotic. That cute guy might get off at Oxford Circus, when I still have three more stops to go. Then he’s gone for ever." New website Met on the Tube seeks to change the way we feel about meeting men and women on the tube, bus or train. It provides a fun, safe and free way to let someone know that you missed a connection. Did you catch your train but miss your connection? You can post a free listing and hope that the object of your gaze comes across it. You can find Met on the Tube at http://www.metonthetube.com. # # # About Met on the Tube:
