Curvy Girl Clothing's first retail store will open in Portland on Friday, November 16th, 2007. Located in the NE side of town, the 1000 square foot store promises to have a 'boutique feel with bargain prices'. Voluptuous women who wear a size 12+ can depend on the company to deliver today's hottest fashions in true plus sizes.
"This is yet another exciting platform in which Curvy Girl can bring its fashion-forward styles to a whole new audience," said Laura Poorman, one of Curvy Girl's co-founders. "Making our clothing accessible to women via the traditional retail model gives us significant new exposure to women who may have not shopped with us in the past, as they are hesitant in terms of purchasing clothing online. As one of the industry's fastest growing plus size clothing companies, it's only natural that we would expand our line to retail locations".
