FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Nov 06, 2007 – City of Industry, CA –-  X-Gene, the brand name for Next Generation Tech, Inc. products, announces the availability of three PC system power supply units. They are the 650 watt PN-02650, the 750 watt PN-02750, and the 850 watt PN-02850. Each is ATX 12V 2.2v compatible and comes with a large 5.3” silent fan for cooling.

"Our PC power supply systems are perfect for home theater and media center PCs,” remarked Joseph Shih, president of Next Generation. “Such applications take more power than a regular PC and X-Gene PC power supply systems deliver that needed wattage. The silent cooling fan built into each unit ensures users will never miss a critical sound, music note, or dramatic piece of dialogue on account of a whirling fan motor.”

ATX 12V 2.2v Compatibility
All three X-Gene PC power supply units conform to ATX 12V 2.2v. This permits the power supply to be interchangeable with different internal PC components. It also turns on and off using a signal from the motherboard, while providing support for many additional functions found in computers today. The units are also compliant with ATX 12V 1.3v and 2.0v.

5.3” Silent Fan
Quiet operation is the hallmark of any quality PC power supply system, especially in home theater and media center applications. A 5.3” silent fan with large blades is incorporated into each X-Gene PC power supply unit. The larger blade size provides superior heat dissipation, helping protect vital components. A built-in thermal control circuit regulates the fan speed automatically to keep balance between the cooling effect and acoustic noise.

Assorted Connectivity Including 6-Pin PCI-Express Support
To provide maximum flexibility, X-Gene power supply units are available with a variety of connectors. These include a 20+4 pin, SATA, Molex 4 pin, FDD 4 pin, 12V 4+4 pin, and VGA 6+2 pin connectors. The last connector is a key feature as many high-end VGA cards consume over 150 watts of power, an amount PCI-Express connections cannot supply. The six+two-pin power socket found in X-Gene units connects directly to the power supply allowing direct connection between the computer power source and the card. This avoids the motherboard connection as well as the PCI-Express port.

Other Compatibilities and Protection Features
All X-Gene PC power supply systems are compatible with Intel® and AMD™ platforms 20+4 BTX. Each unit also includes Serial-ATA connectors that support the latest hard disk drive S-ATA port. Protection against overheating, over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuiting is also provided.

Dimensions
Each unit measures 5.9” x 6.3” x 3.3”.
Availability
X-Gene PC power supply systems are available now at NewEgg.com and other online retailers. PN-02650 has a MSRP of $189.95; PN-02750 has a MSRP of $219.95; and PN-02850 has a MSRP of $244.95.
