Biographies of the Authors
Cyrus Fakharzadeh has about ten years of experience as a student leader. With five years of experience as a president of high school and college student organizations, he has five years of experience as a vice president, senator, and committee chair. He has achieved numerous high school and college leadership awards for his service and contributions to a variety of student organizations. Holding a BS degree from the University of Washington at Seattle, he completed an MS degree from the New York Institute of Technology at Old Westbury where he accomplished a Master’s Thesis. Additionally, he achieved two MS degrees (one in Engineering Management) from the University of Southern California. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, he attained a Project Management Certificate from the California Institute of Technology.
Mark Todd was raised in Ireland, earning a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ulster and a Master’s degree from The Queen’s University of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California where he currently works as an administrator, he has worked as a teacher and university professor. He has four years of experience in graduate student government having held the positions of committee chair, vice president, and president. Notably, he has received honors for his student leadership and scholarship from many national organizations. Serving as a mentor to graduate student leaders at the university, he has been honored by the student government at his university for service to the organization.
