Sharm’s First International Carnival- Towards a Cosmic Harmony.

PRLog (Press Release) – Nov 05, 2007 – Sinai Online, the official South Sinai media sponsor of the Carnival, aims at assisting the organizers of different events to deliver their messages to the audience, using different marketing platforms. The main policy of the company is to provide sponsorship to different businesses promoting Sinai as a tourist destination.
The first International Carnival is going to take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from Nov. 29th till Dec. 2nd attracting more than 30 thousand visitors from all over the world.
Sharm El-Sheikh (Egypt) 29th November, 2007 – Parallel Dimensions, a newly established group of creative people, launches its first International Carnival, supported by Sharm El-Sheikh International Newspaper, Potaract District - 2450 and International Tourist Development Society aiming at people of all ages and nationalities. The goal of the project is to lead the cultural revival of Egyptian folkloric spirit and take the country one step forward. The carnival will be held from November 29th till December 2nd on the streets of Sharm El-Sheik and in its most popular places, including: Il Mercato, Na’ama Bay, Nabq, Hadabah and more.
The official opening and closing ceremonies of the festival held in the Old Market, Na’ama Bay and Nabq will be marked with fireworks. People will parade for 3200 meters demonstrating costumes of the Egyptian culture throughout the different epochs.
Mrs. Ranya Barakat, the Director of the Sales and Marketing Department of Sinai Online argued that “The Carnival will cater to people of all ages and nationalities, so that everyone will be able to find something he/she enjoys”. The carnival will embrace the following entertaining activities:
Body painting will be available on all the beaches of Sharm, while those who enjoy drawing will benefit from 10,000 m2 dedicated specially to this purpose. The Carnival will also include competitions as: “Egypt’s Hidden Treasure” and “Survival Competition”. In addition the Carnival will host some of the most famous DJs and bands in the Il Mercato which will entertain the audience during the evening time.

“The purpose of the Carnival is to attract as many tourists as possible and to develop tourism in the region” – said Mrs. Barakat. For this purpose the International Tourism Conference will take place and last for two days, involving about 500 people, including famous multinational tour operators, the minister of tourism and other VIP guests.
“People will be able to buy souvenirs that will remind them of the great time they were having here” – she added. “Therefore, we will open special bazaars in Na’ama Bay and La Strada to satisfy even the most spoilt of our visitors”.
