Fire and Smoke Damper Inspection Company Expands Service Area to Include Canada

LOUISVILLE, Ky.  – Life Safety Services, the National leader in fire and smoke damper inspection services, announced today that it will expand its service area to include Canada as part of their overall growth plan.  
   “We’re excited about expanding our service area to include neighboring countries of the United States, particularly Canada”, said Craig Rutledge of Life Safety Services.  “The decision was customer driven.  We see a need for our service internationally because there doesn’t seem to be a provider outside of the United States that specializes in fire and smoke damper inspections.  It is our mission to make sure these inspections are performed and to ensure compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) without location burdening the process.   We’ve had a tremendous interest level for our services in Canada, so beginning November 1 we can now provide on demand service to them.”  
The main purpose and ultimate goal in expanding the service area to include Canada is to ensure that not only the United States, but other countries who have adopted the NFPA’s critical Life Safety Code® are in compliance.    
   According to Rutledge, “Resources are typically the reason in which these facilities fail to complete the inspections and conform to the code. The bottom line is that the Fire and Smoke Dampers are as important as any other fire suppression device you put in your building.  If Life Safety Services has the ability to minimize the danger of life from fire by simply expanding our service area and performing the inspections for facilities that lack the resources to complete them thoroughly, then that’s what we’ll do.”
