Why do they do it? Too foster creativity in kids. They feel that it is very important that there's have a Maya Angelou in their generation.
The deadline to enter the contest is January 31, 2008. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be announced on or around March 2008. M3 hopes to encourage more kids their age to read and write poetry. The winning entries will be selected based on originality, creativity and literary merit. Winning entries will be published on the M3 website as well as winning prizes.
