Being on a panel of judges is quite stressful, so what does Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley who's judging the MobileAct unsigned competition like to listen to in order to unwind? "Damien Rice," says Jo. "Although, you listen to his music and think it's really
beautiful and blissful, and then you listen to the lyrics and they're the angriest lyrics in the world. Still, I like Damien Rice or Massive Attack to chill out to."
Vocal powerhouse Alison Moyet says, "PJ Harvey White Chalk" is her top chill out tune, UB40 frontman Ali Campbell enjoys "reggae," but is "currently listening to Stevie Wonder's Number Ones album to chill out to," while Richard from Keane told ilikemusic.com, "Anything by Sigur Ros."
"Mary J Blige, All My Love is the tune I de-stress to" says Estelle who releases her new album next February. "I come in everyday, put that on and unravel until my heads in my house and then I'll put something else on."
While Harry from McFly prefers an altogether different kind of vibe:
"I can chill out to anything," he says. "Even if it's heavy, I find it relaxing because I like it so much. But I suppose Dashboard Confessional are best."
