Travature.com releases new Facebook application: Restaurant Wars

New Facebook application allows users to review restaurants, share favorites, and challenge others taste in food to an exciting game.

Nov. 1, 2007 - PRLog -- Travature.com, a leading Travel 2.0 startup, has announced the official release of their first Facebook application, Restaurant Wars (http://apps.facebook.com/restaurantwars).  The app is part function and part fun.  It offers all of the advantages of user driven restaurant reviews, while at the same time, allows you to compete with your friends, to see how your tastes in restaurants stack up to the ratings given by other Facebook and Travature users.

"Restaurant Wars is a perfect fit into the collection of Facebook applications. Millions of Facebook users will now be able to keep track of where their friends are eating, add reviews to hundreds of thousands of restaurants around the world, and best of all challenge their friend's taste in food," says head application developer Flora Ng. "The social networking concept is such a great way for us to connect our likes and dislikes on personal level, and the recently launched Facebook application platform is an ideal delivery mechanism for us to help users share food preferences in new and exciting ways.”

Restaurant Wars is the first of a series of Facebook and iPhone applications that Travature plans to release before the end of 2008 to increase awareness of their online travel portal Travature.com, a unique integrator of highly relevant travel information.
