The latest fusion: RFind’s RTLS and MOBILEFusion™

Affordable Tag to Tag RTLS now available on PDA via Global Telco Platform

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Oct 30, 2007 – Kelowna, B.C., Canada - Sharon Barnes, CEO, RFind Systems Inc., a manufacturer of Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) announced today that AppLocation Systems Inc., a location based services (LBS) company that specializes in mobile supply chain solutions using a variety of technologies, has joined their partner network.

Barnes states, “RFind’s RTLS system will be used in conjunction with AppLocation’s MOBILEFusion™ Asset Tracking Logistics Platform. This partnership will enable companies, using wireless handheld devices, to locate their assets in specific bounded areas indoors and outdoors with the RFind RTLS solution and merge with larger scale Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Assisted-GPS devices on handheld devices. The complementary technologies will allow real time location data to be collected and processed directly into clients’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

She continued, “By using our Tag-to-Tag technology, system integrators such as AppLocation, now have the opportunity to integrate affordable RTLS with their GPS and LBS products, providing clients with seamless visibility into their logistics and supply chain management operations.”

AppLocation President Gary Hartwig says, “Adding affordable RTLS to our product offering is a benefit for our clients and makes sense from an integration perspective. The convergence of RFID, GPS, and LBS requires our next generation platform to integrate wireless location-sensitive applications across business units to enable cradle to grave supply chain visibility. We provide the plug and play interface with telco systems so clients can focus on running their business.”

Hartwig continued, “The partnership with RFind gives us the added ability to extend locating coverage to indoor areas. Operations and logistics managers tell us they need to use every tool available to remain competitive due to increasing customer expectations. We are optimistic that the dramatic cost differentiator of the RFind Tag-to-Tag RTLS solution, combined with its accuracy and flexibility, will fuel its adoption in more yard and locating applications.”

Barnes concluded, “This partnership strengthens our position in the marketplace and reinforces why Managing Automation magazine named us one of the 2008 Top 10 Companies to Watch.”
