Critical Watch Welcomes IT Security Veteran to Board of Directors

David Harris brings exceptional record of growth in security and vulnerability risk management

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Oct 30, 2007 – Critical Watch, a leading provider of security risk management and compliance solutions, announced today the addition of David Harris to its board of directors. Mr. Harris brings with him more than 25 years of extensive experience in security, technology and regulatory compliance. He has held key positions with several start-up companies - most notably ISS, where he was a key contributor in growing the company from its inception to 60+ million in under four years and Citadel Security Software where he served as chief strategy officer, growing the company to 20+ million also in under four years. Additionally, he was the visionary behind the Citadel – McAfee relationship. In his role with Critical Watch, Harris will assist in achieving corporate strategies, developing additional channel partnerships and contribute to overall company goals.

“Vulnerability management is a key process for regulatory compliance. Addressing the stated requirements with manual efforts and point tools does not deliver a sustainable ability to comply,” said Harris. “FusionVM integrates and automates the process steps needed to meet the varying requirements with clear reporting on risks to critical assets and effectiveness of controls.”

Harris is widely known in the industry for his security information expertise and the ability to guide corporations through implementation of such solutions within their budgetary constraints.

“David will be a significant asset to Critical Watch because of his exceptional talent and experience in the security industry,” says President and CEO David Laizerovich. “His knowledge of risk and vulnerability management solutions compliments our continued growth and position as an industry leader.”

Harris will assume his responsibilities immediately. “I am looking forward to being part of Critical Watch. In addition to its unique core set of products and services, they provide the best vulnerability management solution to accommodate the MSSP marketplace.”
