ICICI Bank Won Genius of the Web Awards 2007

PRLog (Press Release) – Oct 30, 2007 – Mumbai: The First “Genius of the Web” awards organized by Web18, a part of the Network18 group, were announced on October 18th, 2007 at ITC Grand Central, Parel, Mumbai. “Genius of the Web Awards” recognizes achievements by companies that have done commendable work in the online space.

The awards had close to 86 nominations across 19 categories, including Banking, Mutual Funds, Insurance, and Brokers etc.  

ICICI Bank was up against tough competition from the likes of sbi.com, hdfcbank.com, bankofbaroda.com, citibank.co.in, abn amro.co.in, and hsbc.co.in and emerged victorious in the category of 'Best Banking Site'.

Frost & Sullivan carried out extensive research to decide the award winners in each category on three parameters:

•   End-user Experience
