Aohp Awards Liko North America 2007 Business Award

PRLog (Press Release) – Oct 29, 2007 – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA -The Association of Occupational Health Professionals in Healthcare (AOHP) named Liko North America (www.liko.com/na) as a recipient of the AOHP Business Award at the recent 2007 AOHP Conference in Savannah, GA.

This award, new in 2007, recognizes a health care organization, business, corporation or government agency which actively supports occupational health professionals in healthcare, and their participation in AOHP programs and activities. Three organizations were recognized in 2007.

Liko North America has been a supporter of the national AOHP conference for many years. They use this opportunity to educate attendees about safe patient handling. They have generously supported the conference by co-sponsoring the Annual Business Meeting Luncheon for the past four years. In 2006, they hosted and supported the AOHP 25th anniversary celebration. This year, they provided an evening River Cruise in Savannah to nearly 400 attendees and their guests.

Liko develops, manufactures and markets patient lifts, such as mobile lifts and overhead lift systems (ceiling lifts), for safe patient handling.
