The original mosaic is on the outer wall of St Mark’s Hospital, Harrow and was commissioned when the hospital opened. This innovative on-line charity website is easy to use and interactive. The research undertaken at St Mark’s results in many pioneering treatments which allow a life to be saved which previously would have been lost. Much of this research is funded through monies raised by the St Mark’s Hospital Foundation which set up the Mosaic Appeal.
Generosity during the season of giving will help the thousands of people each year who are successfully treated for a vast range of conditions – from bowel cancer to Crohns – at St Marks.
