The festival, which will take place in downtown Lincoln, Neb., will include readings, presentations, book signings, photo exhibits, award ceremonies and a variety of activities geared for children and adults. Many of the downtown businesses, university facilities, museums, as well as the State Capitol will be open for tours or business during the festival.
The iUniverse booth will be set up outdoors on the Festival grounds. The company will be featuring several books by local authors, including the newly released "The Nebraska Way."
Driscoll will be appearing as an expert on the panel of the Saturday presentation “Getting into Print.” The 70-minute presentation will take place in Room 109, Anderson Hall, University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus, and is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., CT.
Established in 1991, the goal of the Nebraska Book Festival is to bring the people who create books together with the people who love to read them. The two-day festival kicks off at 5:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 26.
The iUniverse booth will be staffed by representatives from the Lincoln office, who will be available to answer questions regarding iUniverse, its services and titles. There will also be an opportunity for booth visitors to register for a special drawing to win a free Premier Pro Publishing Package valued at $1,299.
