A recent report discussed the various packages that communications giant O2 would be offering on its broadband services, and now, with the launch of the service well underway, consumers are able to see for themselves just what O2 has to offer. Many customers will also be delighted to hear that O2 is offering an impressive one hundred day guarantee to customers to ensure that the broadband service will prove suitable, and they don’t get stuck with a broadband service that does not fit in with their needs.
This guarantee will be available to customer that sign up for broadband services with O2 by the end of January 2008, and the one hundred day guarantee means that consumers that sign up for the service and are not happy will be able to leave the service and cancel the contract without having to pay any penalty within the first one hundred days of service. This will help to ensure that consumers signing up with the service do not get stuck with an unsuitable broadband package.
As part of the packages on offer O2 is offering a variety of benefits, and this includes free connection until the end of January 2008, unlimited usage subject to fair usage policy, the inclusion of a wireless router, a free phone technical support number for consumers, three McAffee security licences, the option to have a static IP address at £5 per month, and a twelve months contract that includes the one hundred day guarantee.
A variety of packages have been announced by O2, which consumers will be able to select from. The packages and deals announced by O2 so far are: up to 20MB at £15 per month; up to 16MB at £10 per month; and up to 8MB at £7.50 per month.
