Preparing today’s students to participate in a global, knowledge-based economy is a demanding challenge. According to NCTAF, no teacher should be expected to do this job alone. National, state, and local policies must give teachers what they need to succeed, by surrounding them with collaborative team environments that support their continuous professional growth and career advancement.
On Oct. 24th, NCTAF will challenge the nation’s education leaders to transform schools into 21st century learning organizations. Panelists will explain how collaborative learning environments improve school performance, increase teaching effectiveness and close achievement gaps. The event is sponsored by MetLife Foundation.
