Lutron Unveils ROI Calculator for EcoSystem®  

New software charts the return on investment, energy savings and environmental impact of the groundbreaking lighting control system.


Coopersburg, PA  – Lutron Electronics Co., Inc., the world leader in the design and manufacturing of light controls, today announced the availability of the new ROI Calculator for EcoSystem® fluorescent lighting control. The ROI Calculator gives building owners and managers a detailed, comprehensive analysis of their likely return on investment (ROI) for the energy-saving lighting system.

The calculator assembles and organizes the data on charts and graphs, providing an easy-to-read explanation of precisely how EcoSystem will achieve savings for the building owner. The new ROI Calculator factors in a wide number of considerations pertinent to each building’s unique situation, including its design elements, location, functional profile, reconfiguration requirements, energy rates, and the planned use for the EcoSystem controls. The software demonstrates how EcoSystem begins saving money immediately upon installation and use.

One graph compares the ten-year cost of ownership for the building if it is simply ASHRAE/IESNA 2001-compliant with how it will perform if EcoSystem is installed.
