Xyleme® Inc., the leading provider of 100% XML, SCORM 2004 certified learning content management solutions today announces a series of Reusability 2.0 sessions to be given at the training industry’s leading trade shows.

Learning 2007
October 21 – 24, Orlando, FL
Xyleme has two presentation sponsorship sessions at Learning 2007.  The first session, entitled Business Case for Reusability 2.0: the Proof is in the ROI, explores the challenges training organizations face to effectively leverage the power of reusable learning content.

Mark Hellinger, President & CEO of Xyleme and Jim Everidge, President of Rapid Learning Deployment, LLC will present real world case studies that employ Reusability 2.0 techniques to: 1) reduce development costs, 2) decrease production times, 3) simplify content updates, and 4) in doing so, create a brand-new type of on-demand learning product  – one that allows end users to create, customize and contextualize their own learning experience.

This session will be held on October 22 at 1:45 - 2:45pm in Coronado E.

The second session, entitled Reusability 2.0: Real World Strategies for Design and Reuse of Learning Content illustrates the instructional design methods and structured writing practices employed when conceptualizing and developing training content for Reusability 2.0.

Xyleme Design and media experts Jeff Katzman and Stuart Grossman will share with attendees – through real world examples – how to: 1) design content for a blended learning strategy where content is optimized for each training output; and 2) reuse and adapt content for a different audience or purpose. This session will show attendees how to leverage content across geographies, brands, customers and job roles, providing the flexibility to customize and tailor learning content for dynamic requirements.

This session will be held on October 23 at 10:00-11:00am in Coronado

DevLearn 2007
November 5 - 8, San Jose, CA
Bryan Chapman, Chief Learning Strategist at the Chapman Alliance will be joined by Mark Hellinger, President & CEO, Xyleme for his session entitled Reusability 2.0: The Key to Publishing Learning.

In this session, participants will explore case studies of several organizations that employ reusability 2.0 techniques to deliver on-demand content for use in customized instructor-led training (ILT) support material, student manuals, lesson plans, textbooks, job aides, performance support, and certification exams – all through a single production pass to assemble and organize reusable learning content.

This session is #207 and will be held on November 6 at 1:30pm

Xyleme will be exhibiting at booth 19 and demonstrating its latest release, Xyleme LCMS 3.1.
