Axes Systems Names New CTO

Oct. 16, 2007 - PRLog -- Alpnach. With its signing of Béla Arnoczky (42) as CTO, the GIS cartography software developer Axes Systems has added a proven specialist to its team. The ETH-educated engineer Arnoczky specializes in digital cartography and has more than 15 years of experience in software development on various platforms.

Béla Arnoczky is recognized as one of the most experienced developers of GIS cartography software. After his studies as an electrical engineer at the ETH in Zürich, Switzerland he specialized in the development of GIS cartography software in the areas of visualization and automation. Before his engagement with Axes Systems AG the father of two children functioned as an application development lead, programmer and analyst at the German provider of geo-information systems M.O.S.S. GmbH. Previous to that he was the Head of Development at Maptech in Horw, Luzern, Switzerland.
