InquireTec Announces Speech Interface Toolkit for 4D v11 SQL

PRLog (Press Release) – Oct 17, 2007 – Memphis, TN -- InquireTec Software announced today at the 4D Summit Conference 2007 in Memphis the third major release of SUI Pack for Mac OS X, a 4D plug-in which empowers developers to create conversational interfaces for 4D v11 SQL applications.

SUI Pack v3.0, which is now Universal Binary, offers greater control of the speech recognition and synthesis engines, including support for Speech Synthesis Markup Language (SSML) when used with the many natural voices by Cepstral. End users can search, sort, select and update multiple records by voice, perform spoken entry of dates, times, numbers and control other common form objects. The built-in grammar for relative date values has expanded to include phrases such as "two weeks from Monday". SUI Pack v3.0 for Windows will soon follow, for use with 4D running on XP or Vista.
