Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Meirc Training and Consulting Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary As The Middle East and Gulf Leader In The Training Industry
Meirc Training and Consulting Dubai, the Middle East largest independent management training provider, today announced that it is celebrating its Fiftieth year providing innovative training and consulting services that transform businesses and help individuals reach their career goals. Over the last Fifty years Meirc has grown to be the Middle East and Gulf leader in the industry and is responsible for pioneering learning methods that have permanently changed the training mindset.
Meirc was founded in 1958 by Mr. S. G. Siksek who was a former senior employee at ARAMCO to serve major oil companies in fields related to human relations. As the firm grew, training was added and in time became MEIRC’s main field of specialization. Eventually many other organizations started using MEIRC’s services. In 1975 the civil war in Lebanon forced MEIRC to relocate to Athens, Greece.
In 1989, a regional office was opened in Dubai which became the Main Office right after the first Gulf War. MEIRC changed its name to Meirc Training & Consulting to reflect more accurately its activities and areas of specialization.
Today, Meirc serves clients from North Africa to India; however, most of its major clients are in the GCC countries. It provides leading edge training and consulting services in Arabic, English and French; this is made possible by the 50 plus full time consultants and support staff who are multicultural and multinational. Meirc’s consultants know the area and its culture well; have considerable global business experience; with relevant higher education.
Meirc is owned by its current executives and partners. Ownership passes on to the next, younger, generations of consultants who will then have the opportunity to lead and manage the firm in the future.
