Prudential Georgia Realty, in response to all the recent media coverage about the real estate and mortgage industries, has released a brief, eight-minute video discussing the metro Atlanta housing market and the positive economic forecast and opportunities that exist in the Southeast.
The video is presented by Dan Forsman, company president and CEO. Forsman is recognized as an expert voice on real estate in Georgia. He’s been featured on CNBC’s Kudlow & Cramer, locally on 1160 AM business radio and in numerous regional and national publications. He served a one-year term as president of the Atlanta Board of Realtors in 2003, the largest regional real estate board in Georgia and, for his vision and commitment to the real estate industry, was awarded Broker of the Year for all of North America by Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. earlier this year.
The video discusses the residential real estate market for fall 2007. In it, Forsman candidly discusses the troubles in the mortgage industry, the abundance of home inventory and how home prices are determined. Citing numerous statistics from such sources as the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Census, CNN, Fortune magazine and AARP, he makes the argument that metro Atlanta is continuing to grow and prosper with new job creation well into five figures each year and a projected growth of another 2 million residents by the year 2020.
“Right now, the facts tell us this is an incredible time for buyers and investors to purchase real estate in metro Atlanta and North Georgia,” explains Forsman. “This window of opportunity happens very infrequently and most people don’t catch on to it until the opportunity is gone and they are looking back at the market in hindsight.
