After only a year, the new law has already been the subject of nearly 30 court decisions, involving marks that range from "Nike" to 7-Eleven's "Big Gulp." And the first appellate decision -- one that pits "Louis Vuitton" for luxury leather goods against "Chewy Vuiton" for pet chew toys -- is due to be issued soon."
The Forum on Franchising, now in its 30th year, has a mission to be the preeminent forum for the study and discussion of the legal aspects of franchising. More than 800 ABA members are expected to attend the annual forum that provides the opportunity to learn from leading practitioners and earn continuing legal education credit.
