Caricam Mobile Congress: an unveiling of what the future holds for the region

PR Log (Press Release) – Oct 08, 2007 – IBC is proud to announce the CariCam Mobile Congress 2007 – the most important Caribbean and Central American mobile operators and regulators meeting. The event aims to follow the technology, market and regulation evolution, establishing itself as the stage where business and decisions are made and the future is revealed. Organized by IBC, the conference will take place from November 5 to 8, in Puerto Rico.

“The Congress agenda includes a series of panels and parallel sessions modeled to create knowledge by the merging of different viewpoints from acclaimed specialists” explains Rodrigo Carvalho, event manager. On November 5, two workshops will discuss Regulatory issues and WiMax devices, core network, roaming and applications. On November 6 and 7, the plenary session will approach issues related to business models, market strategies, technology and infrastructure, and industry trends.

The last day of the meeting will focus its panels on the roaming strategies for the CariCam Region.
