PRLog (Press Release) –
Oct 07, 2007 – Grand Rapids entrepreneur and competitive dressage equestrian (horseback rider) Patricia Reszetylo, and Drew Fitzpatrick, of the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation, located in Zimmerman, MN, are joining forces to bring the premier cultural event of 2008 to Minnesota: a City Art Event, “Independence:
The Spirit of the Horse”.
Patricia, a long-time Grand Rapids resident, came up with the idea as she was creating a corporate sponsorship proposal package for her competitive riding. “I’m both an artist and an equestrian,” she says. “This marries both so well, and it will give MHARF (Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation) some much-needed funding and exposure.”
“Independence: Spirit of the Horse” will be a summer-long event, starting with a parade in St. Paul Sesquicentennial weekend (May 15, 2008), continuing with the horses displayed around the Twin Cities, and culminating with an auction and awards ceremony State Fair Weekend 2008.
Those interested in learning more about sponsoring the event, sponsoring a horse, decorating a horse, volunteering or perhaps to just get on the announcement list are invited to visit http://www.SpiritOfTheHorse.info.
Current sponsors include Horse Headquarters, Horse-Logos, Equine Science Update, Equine Teleseminar and Horse Salt: Your Himalayan Salt Lick Source.
